October saw more grant makers than typical, but slightly fewer picked up through prospect research.
124 new grant makers were established, with half (62) being included in this Trust List; the other half were left out because of their interest in a single cause (a local church, hospital, school and such) or were specifically interested in something that would exclude you as professional fundraisers.
Of the 62 included here, 21 were highlighted as we found additional information (both financial and non-financial) that would be of use to you in deciding an approach.
As always, the majority of funders focus on Relief, Education and Health, with a third being Generalists. The remaining funders have quite disparate interests, including conservation, several medical charities and sustainable development.
Whilst there are no royals this month, there are several wealthy connections, with one family worth around £1,500,000,000; another worth around £150,000,000, and a third worth a more modest £9,100,000.
