September was a very typical month, with slightly more new charities than average, but slightly fewer new grant makers.
Just under 100 new grant makers were established, with just over half (58) being included in this Trust List; those that were left out were specifically interested in a single cause (a local church, hospital, school and such) or were specifically interested in something that would exclude you as professional fundraisers.
Of the 58 included here, 34 (59%) were highlighted as we found additional information (both financial and non-financial) that would be of use to you in deciding an approach.
As always, the majority of funders focus on Relief, Education and Health, with a third being Generalists. The remaining funders have quite disparate interests, including conservation, several medical charities, sustainable development and the promotion of our own voluntary sector.
Another Royal makes the list this month. Others include CEO of an investment company with personal wealth of £425,000,000, another individual worth £255,000,000 and a car salesman worth £15,000,000.
