July 2015 was another bumper month for new registrations. 71 new grant makers are included in this list.
Education, relief and health feature prominently, as they do every month, but there was also a marked increase in the number of trusts interested in animal welfare and conservation (particularly bats and wild trout), ex-servicemen and women in Cornwall, and support for acoustic folk music.
24 new grant makers were picked up through prospect research, a third of the overall number listed. New grant makers include music artists, foodies and solicitors. In addition, a large health foundation has set aside £1,000,000 for new health projects in 2015.
