The 100 grant makers included in this directory represent the top 13% of all new grant makers set up to support fundraising charities by wealth, and quite possibly 90% of the total wealth that was put into trust that year. Overall worth, where wealth can be fairly ascertained, is estimated at £31.4 billion. There are several new trusts that have trustees with significant wealth, including at least three with billionaires, 24 with individuals worth over £100m and 53 with people worth over £10m.
