Trust List November 2021
This edition sees a special Christmas bonus, with a significant uptick in the number of new grant makers registering. We saw 125 new grant makers register, the first time we have seen over 100 since this time last year! A cursory glance at the number of registrations thus far for December already shows 103 new grant makers, so perhaps we are returning to previous levels of registrations.
As always, along with the classic 'relief, education and health', we see several trusts interested in amateur sports, Armed Forces, conservation, several medical and mental health charities, and young people.
Several remarkable people established new grant makers this month, including: the US$ billionaire LT Pagarani and family, and Angus Ball (worth £200m). We also see several corporate foundations, including Richer Sounds (not linked to the Persula Foundation), PA Consulting, Watches of Switzerland and the Croda Foundation, linked to the chemicals corporation turning over £1.3bn.
