Trust List August 2021
Alas, this edition sees a continuation of the slow number of new registrations this year. In addition, the pandemic has finally caught up with us at NewCharities.org, resulting in a slight delay in publication; our apologies.
As always, along with the classic 'relief, education and health', we see several trusts interested in the Arts, animal welfare, amateur sport, community, human rights, several medical charities, social welfare and mental health.
Some remarkable people have set up trusts this month, including singer/songwriter and philanthropist Meil de Botton, the Lubner Family, who head up a $billion company, the Lohia family, worth £4.78bn, the Uggla family, who have provided an initial gift of $24m to their trust, and twentyfour Asset Management, who made a profit close to £40m last year alone.
