Trust List July 2020
This edition continues a significant rise in the numbers of new grant makers registering; once again we have over 100 in this edition. There have now been 11 instances of more than 100 trusts in any given month since our publication began in 2011, 8 of those since November 2019.
As always, along with the classic 'relief, education and health', we see several trusts interested in conservation, community support, music, the arts, respite breaks and young people. In addition, there are 7 new medical grant makers covering cancer and other conditions as well as 8 new Lions Clubs (good for local fundraising).
Several wealthy individuals were involved in setting up new grant makers this month, including Judith Portrait, who sits on the majority of the Sainsbury Family Trusts, has set up a new grant maker.
