Trust List May 2020
This edition sees a return to significant numbers of trusts registering, after a slight drop in April, once again we have over 100 new grant makers in this edition. There have only been 9 instances of more than 100 trusts included since our publication began in 2011, 6 of those since November 2019.
As always, along with the classic 'relief, education and health', we see several trusts interested in amateur sport, animal welfare, the Armed Forces, conservation, community support, music, the arts and young people. In addition, there are 10 new medical grant makers covering cancer and other conditions as well as 7 new Lions Clubs.
Last month saw relatively few wealthy individuals setting up Trusts. This month sees a return to form, with several instances of very significant wealth.
