Trust List April 2020
This edition sees a marked drop in the number of registrations, perhaps unsurprising, given that the lockdown took hold towards the end of March. Whilst there were just 97 new grant makers established last month, 84 are included in this edition (against a rolling average of 88), but 40% of those were picked up through prospect research. Fewer grant makers, but a greater proportion were highlighted
As always, along with the classic 'relief, education and health', we see several trusts interested in animal welfare, conservation, community support, music, the arts and young people. In addition, there are 5 new medical grant makers covering cancer and other conditions. New to this edition, we also saw three trusts set up specifically to help health workers battling Covid-19.
