Trust List February 2020
This edition continues the significant upturn seen over the past few months, with 100 or more new grantmakers included in each edition since November 2019. There were only three other instances over the past 8 years where we have seen 100+ new trusts in any given edition.
As always, along with the classic 'relief, education and health', we see several trusts interested in animal welfare, conservation, community support, homelessness, human rights, promotion of tennis and squash, legal and tax support, debt relief and young people. In addition, there are 8 new medical grant makers covering cancer, mental health and ADHD.
This particular edition sees a mix of wealthy individuals, including several worth £tens of millions each. As always, there are several generalists, so there should be something for everyone.
