This edition sees a significant increase in the number of trusts listed, from an average of 75 per edition to 131 new grant makers - up a whopping 75% just in time for Christmas.
Along with the classic 'relief, education and health', we see several trusts interested in animal welfare, conservation, sustainable development and even the relief of cows in India. We also see 11 new grant makers focusing on a variety of medical conditions and a pride of new Lions Clubs.
This particular edition sees a mix of wealthy individuals mostly investment professionals, where it can be difficult to accurately gage their wealth. Once again, several are generalists, so there should be something for everyone.
