Along with the classic 'relief, education and health', we see several trusts interested in animal welfare and conservation, human rights, sustainable development and one for rowing and another for tennis. More helpfully, there are a range of charities looking at community, good citizenship (via Lions Clubs) and several medical charities.
There are several wealthy individuals setting up grant making trusts, including a family (again, after setting up a trust last month), worth in excess of £360m. Others include the Black family, worth around £180m.
